If desired, an 8 ounce can of water chestnuts can be added.

Be sure to chop them up before adding to the dip. Allow mix to sit in the refrigerator until it becomes nice and cold. This dip goes very well with a platter of fresh vegetable such as celery sticks, sliced carrots,mushrooms, and pieces of broccoli. However, it can also work well on sliced baguette bread.

This recipe can be used as a dip or a spread. Start with a package of crab meat. Often this recipe is made using imitation crab meat. Chop into small pieces and mix with mayonnaise to taste.
