Phrase of the week: Last long run.
Did I mention that I’m running my second half marathon in two weeks, again in Disney World? Yup. I’m really excited, and kind of nervous. I went on my last long run today – ten miles – and just like every long run I’ve done since my first half, my left knee aches after more than halfway into it.
Not good.
I’m hoping to force myself to go even slower than I have been in training, and to foam roll twice a day. I may even have to set my phone alarm to remind myself to roll, since it’s one of those things I don’t mind doing, but never make enough time for. We’ll see how it goes! I’ll be posting more about it on the Healthy Disney blog.
To all those who celebrate, wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas.
