A few of our easy, in a pinch meals at home involve salsa: cheese and bean quesadillas, veggie burritos, and nachos. When Don Sabrosa sent a sample of their three mild salsas, I was excited to incorporate them into these meals.
Don Sabrosa Salsas are all natural, containing no preservatives. They are a low sodium, low sugar, and gluten free food, and do not contain any water or fillers. They’re also full of antioxidants and vitamin-rich foods, like tomatoes, blueberries, honey, and peaches.
Available in mild or hot, these salsas can be paired with a number of foods and meals. Check out their website to buy some.
- Roasted Garlic: This salsa tasted healthy and fresh with a wonderful roasted flavor and aroma. I like that you could taste the garlic, but it was not overpowering.
- Black Bean & Corn: More of that same great roasted flavor, but with the addition of black beans and corn, which were noticeable, but did not take over the salsa.
- Blueberries, Peaches & Honey: This sweet and fruity one went well with spicier food to balance out the flavors. I loved the chunks of peaches in it.
I was really pleased with Don Sabrosa’s salsas, and will look into purchasing them in the future, particularly the Blueberries, Peaches & Honey salsa.

Yum! Nothing beats fresh salsa with a veggie taco salad and blue corn chips. Looks great
Salsa is one of my favorite things ever made!! Those salsas look delicious!!
My, how I miss salsa! The blueberry/peach/honey mix sounds amazing with spicy food. And I LOVE salsa with black beans, rice, cheese, and veggies….sigh.
I seriously put salsa on everything. I just love it. Although, I am not a fan of the fruity kinds. But the other Don Sabrosa flavors sound wonderful.
I adore salsa…I adore all things Mexican…and I would love to have a bag of chips and salsa beside me right now! I love spreading salsa and cheese on a whole wheat tortilla for a spicy afternoon snack. These jars look tasty…thank you for sharing!
Yum salsa is such a great condiment to have.
When I do remember I have it, I'll slap it on a lot of things to give quick meals flavor. It's great on a salad. It's great on chicken, where I pulled a piece out quick and cooked it on the foreman without prepping it with anything before hand, etc. Most of all, I love it with a few chips because nachos are one of my huge weaknesses.
Thanks for this review! Those salsa's look AMAZING.
